The British Library has just made a major literary acquisition: Granta magazine’s literary archives.

The Bookseller reports that over forty years, Granta had accumulated three hundred boxes of archival material.

The letters and papers come from such authors as Margaret Atwood, Kazuo Ishiguro, Kingsley Amis, Susan Sontag, Iris Murdoch, Raymond Carver, Doris Lessing, and more.

See actual images from the archives on the Bookseller’s website.
