As a way of making amends, we’ll share a handful of recent interviews with the author of The Interpreter of Maladies and The Namesake (our favorites) as well as, more recently, The Clothing of Books and In Other Words (originally written in Italian).

See what she has to say about falling in love with the Italian language, about the freedom of writing her memoir in Italian, and about the honor of translating Italy's "finest living writer" into English.
