Famous — or infamous — whistleblower Edward Snowden will publish a memoir on September 17.
Permanent Record will discuss Snowden’s life as well as how he helped build the U.S. surveillance systems that he’d later expose to the public through leaked documents.
Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed in his publisher's news release, but he’ll likely need whatever money it brings in, as he’s facing charges of espionage and theft.
Snowden is living in exile; according to The Hill, that location is believed to be Moscow.
