The relationship between books and Hollywood is starting to become a little bit more reciprocal.
Variety noted recently that Audible is making sure to enlist big names from entertainment (like Reese Witherspoon, Kate McKinnon, and more) to work on its audiobook projects.
It’s not a tit-for-tat situation from a bunch of bookworms disgruntled at how Hollywood butchers their favorites, though — it’s a key marketing strategy.
Regardless of whether you care about the finances and figures of the audiobook world, you might enjoy seeing what star-studded projects are in the works at Audible.
