The new documentary The Miracle of the Little Prince is being screened tonight at the Film Forum in New York City.
Since relatively few (if any) of us will be able to attend and watch the Q&A with filmmaker Marjoleine Boonstra afterwards, we’ll have to enjoy this interview with her instead.
The documentary follows Antoine Saint-Exupéry’s book — the second-most frequently translated, after the Bible — around the world and stars the many gifted folks who have translated it.
See what Boonstra had to say about the classic book, language issues, and more in her interview with Words Without Borders.
