Another memoir is hitting shelves on September 24, but from a decidedly different type of writer.

Actress Demi Moore has written a memoir, Inside Out, the contract for which she’d actually signed in 2012.

But, as she told a New York Times reporter, her plans then were to write about the mother-daughter relationship — and she’d just become estranged from all three of her daughters.

Moore sought treatment for the behavior that had alienated her daughters (not to mention putting her physical health at extreme risk) and returned to the memoir-writing process two years ago.

Now that Inside Out is about to launch, she shared some of the themes, events, and insights that appear in it in an interview with the New York Times.
