A reading list for now and a reading list for later

The New York Times has two recommended reading lists to share today.

One is a roundup of nine books that have been adapted into movies — in other words, it’s the read-it-before-you-see-it list.

The other is a preview of some highly anticipated fall book releases, with (in the headline’s words) just a few spoilers.
