Today is release day for yet another political memoir, this one from Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor and former UN ambassador.

With All Due Respect: Defending America With Grit and Grace focuses on Haley’s more recent role.

In it, Haley does describe how certain members of the administration recruited her to keep President Trump in check, though NPR notes that those staffers — Rex Tillerson and John Kelly — have not responded publicly to the claims.

NPR interviewed Haley in the leadup to her book’s release and picked her brain about the Ukraine investigation and impeachment proceedings.

You can read an article summing up the conversation, read the complete transcript, or listen to it below.

You can also check out NPR’s review of With All Due Respect to keep your focus on the book’s content.
