Laura Dern records new audio version of "Little Women"

Actress Laura Dern is going all-in on the Little Women reboot.

In addition to playing Marmee in the film version that comes out Christmas Day, Dern is also recording the latest audiobook version of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel.

The two-volume audiobook will be released December 23 on Audible, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Dern’s co-stars include Emma Watson (Meg), Saoirse Ronan (Jo), Timothee Chalamet (Laurie), and Meryl Streep (Aunt March).

Yahoo reports that the film, directed by Greta Gerwig, is considered to be among the contenders for the 2020 Academy Award for Best Picture.
