Meet your Poem-a-Day curators for 2020

The Academy of American Poets has revealed the monthly curators of daily poetry for 2020.

These twelve guest editors, all award-winning poets themselves, choose new poems to be sent out on weekdays and classic works to share on weekends.

They are:

• January: Meg Day

• February: Roger Reeves

• March: Dana Levin

• April: Joy Harjo (the current US poet laureate!)

• May: Monica Youn

• June: Ari Banias

• July: Brian Blanchfield

• August: Fatimah Asghar

• September: David Tomas Martinez

• October: Sasha Pimentel

• November: Heid E. Erdrich

• December: Jane Hirshfield
