Penguin Random House will be removing all of its digital and audio titles from unlimited-access subscription services.

PRH ebooks in Bookbeat, Storytel, and Nextory (all European competitors to Kindle Unlimited) were removed last week, reports The Digital Reader, while PRH audiobooks will be removed from Scribd in the middle of February, reports Good E-Reader.

A few sources are speculating that the move means PRH wants to unveil its own unlimited-access service, but The Bookseller and The Digital Reader both find that rather unlikely.
