Stephen King has pulled the plug on his Facebook page in protest of its ad policies.

Specifically, the bestselling horror writer objects to the social media network’s “flood of false information allowed in its political advertising” and also doubts its ability to keep user information private.

The Guardian reported this news based on King’s comments on Twitter, where he remains active; Twitter banned all political advertising on the platform last October.
