We can’t say that Dolly Parton is having a comeback, because it’s clear she never actually left the hearts of her millions of fans.

But 2019 certainly didn’t find her in the shadows, with the release of an acclaimed podcast about her and rumors of a book deal.

And this year, we’ll have a documentary about her literacy-focused nonprofit, Imagination Library.

The Library That Dolly Built premieres April 2; you can look for showings on the film’s website and watch the trailer below.

According to the nonprofit, it is active in all fifty US states and five countries and gives out 1.45 million free, age-appropriate books to children every month.
