Another cause for mirth: the faux feud between a Colorado county’s library system and its parks department.
The Jefferson County Public Library and Jeffco Open Space have taken turns claiming superiority over each other — all tongue in cheek — via social media posts.
For example, when the parks crew posted about what to do if you encounter a coyote, the library asked, facetiously, whether coyotes could be avoided by going to the library.
And when the library posted about an upcoming nature talk, the parks department suggested actually getting out and observing nature.
Local TV station 9News rounded up several of their favorite moments from the pretend feud for your amusement.
