We're guessing a gold-illuminated fifteenth-century manuscript isn't within your book-buying budget.

So instead of bidding on the Divan of Hafez, a Persian poetry collection dated to 1462, that was recovered from theft last year, enjoy some close-up shots of it on Hyperallergic.

The manuscript is set to hit the auction block on April 1, with an estimated sale price of £80,000 to £120,000 (about $104,150 to $156,200).
