Female authors dominated the literary fiction genre in 2019, according to The NPD Group.
The global information company shared this news in honor of Women’s History Month, which takes place in March.
NPD Group said that 67 percent of unit sales in the top 100 literary fiction books in 2019 came from women, led by Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
