Margaret Atwood, famous for (among many things) her dystopian fiction, has entered the fight to support authors during the coronavirus shutdown.
The New York Times reports that the author of The Handmaid’s Tale is launching an online video series that she hopes will help writers recapture some of their lost revenue streams.
Atwood’s effort expands on CanadaPerforms, which itself was started by the National Arts Centre to provide virtual venues at which artists could perform.
