Literary Hub has dug up a gem from the radio archives, in honor of a literary birthday.
Raymond Carver read his short story “What We Talk About When We Talk About Love,” featured in a collection of the same name, for a radio program in 1983.
It's the only such known recording from the author, who was born May 25, 1938.
Listen to Carver read his story below.
