Neil Gaiman is the latest celebrated author to dig out a story abandoned years ago and flesh it out into a new release.
Gaiman’s Pirate Stew won’t be out until October in the United Kingdom (December in the United States), though, unlike J.K. Rowling’s The Ickabog, which is coming out in installments.
The rhyming tale will be illustrated by the former UK children’s laureate Chris Riddell, who has previously worked with Gaiman on such other works as Coraline.
Check out the cover and read a bit more about Pirate Stew in the Guardian.
