Seems safe to say that most of us could use a pick-me-up, no matter how your morning has been going.
So here’s a triumphant story from India: Gulzar Dehalvi, a ninety-four-year-old poet, has survived COVID-19.
Dehalvi is celebrated for his verse in the Urdu language as well as his work as a journalist.
News sources reported his survival by quoting his own poetry: “Us sitamgar ki meherbani se, dil ulajhta hai zindagani se” (It's the kindness of the oppressor, that entangles me more with life).
