Why Alex Trebek decided to write a memoir after years of refusing

Longtime Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek’s memoir hit shelves today, the day before his eightieth birthday.

He had resisted writing one for years, but the wave of empathy and well wishes from Jeopardy! fans after he revealed his stage IV pancreatic cancer diagnosis helped change his mind.
