A South Korean author has found himself in major trouble after sharing too many personal details …
… about other people, that is.
Kim Bong-gon shared personal information about others, including — possibly — their sexual orientation, without their consent, reports The Korea Times.
As a result, publishers are recalling his novel Summer, Speed and two anthologies that include another novel from him; readers who already purchased those books will receive a refund.
Kim has apologized and returned a literary prize he recently received.
You can read more about how Kim’s actions were discovered in The Korea Times.
