The 2020 Booker Prize longlist has been released.
The Guardian notes that among the thirteen nominees are eight debut novels — as well as a multiyear winner.
Hilary Mantel could become the first ever writer to win three Bookers, at this point.
Here’s the longlist, which will be narrowed down to just six on September 15 (and one in November):
