Daisy Johnson became the youngest author ever to be on the Booker Prize shortlist in 2018 — with a debut novel, no less.

Though she didn’t take the top prize, she definitely whetted the literature world’s appetite for more novels.

If you’re among those people, we have great news: Literary Hub has an excerpt of Sisters, which came out Tuesday.

Sisters, perhaps not surprisingly, tells the story of July and September, sisters who were born just ten months apart, and how a move out to the country, away from a school bullying situation, puts their previously tight bond at risk.
