"Normal People" star to also play the heroine of "Where The Crawdads Sing"

Actress Daisy Edgar-Jones is set to star in another adaptation of a bestselling novel.

Deadline reports that Edgar-Jones will play Kya in the movie version of Delia Owens’s Where The Crawdads Sing, which Reese Witherspoon is helping produce.

She previously starred in the TV series based on Sally Rooney’s hit novel Normal People.

Where The Crawdads Sing — Owens’s debut novel — spent over a year on the New York Times bestseller list and was also one of Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine book club picks.
