The judges loved this book, yeah, yeah, yeah.
One Two Three Four: The Beatles in Time has won this year's Baillie Gifford Prize, which is Britain’s top nonfiction award.
Author Craig Brown will receive a purse of £50,000 (about $64,000) in addition to the accolades.
His book weaves the traditional interviews and historical details one expects from a biography with other unexpected sources of information about the band, prompting the judges to praise it as "a highly original take on familiar territory."
