Books from Amazon Publishing are currently not available in any library, anywhere.

That could be changing.

Publishers Weekly reports that the nonprofit Digital Public Library of America and Amazon Publishing are discussing a possible deal.

To be clear, this would only add books released by Amazon Publishing and would not include books in Kindle Direct Publishing or anything from Audible.

Still, it would be an expansion over the current situation, in which no Amazon digital content is available in any library.
