Many readers know and love Betty Smith’s coming-of-age novel A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
But its follow-up, Tomorrow Will Be Better, hasn’t received nearly the attention that its predecessor did.
NPR’s book critic, Maureen Corrigan, hopes that its recent re-release changes that.
