Excerpts: “The Only Living Girl on Earth” and “The Push”

It seems odd to share an excerpt from a short story, but who even knows what normal is anymore, right?

Entertainment Weekly shares a snippet of Charles Yu’s upcoming short story, “The Only Living Girl on Earth,” ahead of its January 8 release.

Yu’s previous work, the novel Interior Chinatown, won the National Book Award for fiction.
