Do you need a break from doom-scrolling?

(Dumb question. Of course you do.)

Literary Hub shared two lighthearted links yesterday that we thought would start your day on the right tone.

First, for those looking for a home in a small town in the upper Midwest, there’s a property worth checking out in Ely, Minnesota.

For just $79,000, you can purchase the town’s former community center … whose first floor formerly housed the local library.

And for much less money — none, in fact — you can watch a movie adaptation of a Dr. Seuss story.

Gerald McBoing-Boing was made with the assistance of P.D. Eastman, a beloved illustrator (Go Dog, Go! and Are You My Mother?) who was also a screenwriter and animator.

Watch the video below and learn a bit more about its context and creator at Lit Hub.
