Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has expanded her writing efforts into the historical fiction realm.
Ferguson, the ex-wife of England’s Duke of York (and thus the queen’s former daughter-in-law), has previously written two memoirs, several children’s books, and historical nonfiction.
The Bookseller reports that Her Heart for A Compass will be published on August 3 in both the United Kingdom and the US.
It imagines the life of Ferguson’s great-great-aunt Lady Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott.
