We’ve already missed the premieres of a few, but Literary Hub has rounded up the bookish TV shows and movies that are on tap for 2021.
Some have set release dates; others, release months; and still others, nothing but a cast and source material.
And at least one is not, in fact, an adaptation of a book, but rather a feature on a well-known author.
Additionally, Lit Hub alerts Thomas Harris fans to the trailer for Clarice, a CBS show that takes place in the so-called Hannibal Lecter Expanded Universe.
That is to say, it takes Harris’s characters and writes its own material for them; in Clarice, the title FBI agent is back in action a year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs.
Clarice premieres February 11; you can watch the trailer below and read Lit Hub’s preview of the show.
