Ah, here’s a nice way to start out the morning and week: author Stephen King is helping elementary school children become published authors.
The Associated Press reports that King covered the $6,500 cost of publishing a book written by students in Farwell Elementary School’s Author Studies Program.
The school is in Lewiston in Maine, the bestselling horror author’s home state.
Students in the program adapted a novel by Gary Savage, with Savage’s help, to reflect their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
