We have a cast for the latest Sally Rooney novel adaptation.

The BBC/Hulu version of Conversations with Friends, which preceded Normal People in book form but follows it for television, will premiere in 2022 as a twelve-part series, according to Deadline.

It will star Joe Alwyn (The Favourite) as Nick, Jemima Kirke (Girls) as Melissa, Sasha Lane (Utopia) as Bobbi, and Alison Oliver as Frances.

Conversations with Friends was shortlisted for a number of awards and made Rooney an author to watch; it tells the story of former lovers and current best friends Bobbi and Frances, who meet a curious couple (Nick and Melissa) and form a deep, yet complicated, bond with them.
