No matter your opinion of the worth of bestseller lists, you probably know that a book on it will be hard to get immediately at a library.

Now, thanks to a tech-savvy author, you can visualize just how difficult it is.

Robin Sloan, who’s also a former Twitter executive, developed an interactive tool that allows you to see how many holds have been placed for an ebook on the New York Times bestseller list, how many copies (or licenses, really) libraries own for each book, and the ratio of those two.
