Pulitzer-winning novel "The Sympathizer" is optioned for TV

Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning debut novel could add another entry to its résumé: television series.

Literary Hub reports that A24 and Rhombus Media have optioned the rights to The Sympathizer.

A sequel to 2015’s The Sympathizer, The Committed, came out last month.

More details about the adaptation are expected after Nguyen’s appearance on A24’s podcast.
