Terry Pratchett’s debut novel turns fifty this year, and its publisher is celebrating.

An anniversary edition of The Carpet People is coming out today, reports the Guardian, and David Tennant (star of Doctor Who and Good Omens) reads the new audiobook.

Pratchett wrote The Carpet People when he was just seventeen but revised it some years later, in 1992, when his Discworld books’ popularity was inspiring more interest in his backlist.

The Guardian has more detail on the book’s journey as well as a short excerpt of Tennant narrating it.
