Going virtual doesn’t have to mean skimping when it comes to events.

Case in point: Publishers Weekly's new virtual book publishing trade show, the U.S. Book Show, boasts an impressive array of guest speakers.

Oprah Winfrey will discuss, among other topics, her book What Happened to You?: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience and Healing as the event’s opening keynote speaker.

Ijeoma Oluo, Anthony Doerr, and Brian Selznick are among the prominent authors also slated to speak, while pop culture stars such as actor Keanu Reeves and chef/cooking show producer Padma Lakshmi will also speak.

The event takes place virtually from May 25-27 and be available on demand through August 31.

It offers a special reduced-rate price for librarians, library board trustees/members, and booksellers.

More information, including a link to register and a schedule, is available on the U.S. Book Show’s website.
