Liberal bookworms express dismay over Trump administration officials receiving lucrative book deals, while fans of the latter argue that the publishing industry is biased against them.

But now we have news of a book that could irritate both of those groups: a possible scolding of the GOP from a sometime Donald Trump supporter.

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will release Republican Rescue: Saving the Party from Truth Deniers, Conspiracy Theorists, and the Dangerous Policies of Joe Biden on November 16, according to the Associated Press.

The AP points out that while Christie was among the first prominent Republicans to endorse Trump and helped him prepare for the 2020 debates, Christie has also spoken in favor of Trump’s impeachment over the storming of the Capitol.

Threshold Editions, an imprint of Simon & Schuster that previously published a Trump book, describes Republican Rescue as breaking down the recent mistakes of the GOP, in particular the denial of Trump’s election loss, and offering solutions for how to move forward and thwart the Democrats’ agenda.

It is the first book in a two-book deal.
