With yesterday being the anniversary of the real-life Macbeth’s death, the literary blogs we follow were in a Shakespearean state of mind.

The easy-to-digest: Literary Hub dug up a clip of Arnold Schwarzenegger playing Hamlet.

To be fair, it was just a scene from the action movie Last Action Hero and not a full performance of the play.

The segment is below and also at Lit Hub if you want more context for it.

The much-denser Bard bite: Back in 2014, data scientists analyzed the play Macbeth to pinpoint what in the language makes it such a creepy play.

And it boiled down to one particular word and the unusual, repetitive way that William Shakespeare used it.

Find out which word makes Macbeth so spooky at The Passive Voice.
