Actor Michael K. Williams passed away over the holiday weekend.

Though he was best known for his work in Hollywood, his literary ties did stretch past appearing in a movie adaptation of a book (Bringing Out the Dead, based on the novel by Joe Connelly), notes Literary Hub.

In April 2020, Williams posted a video on Instagram of himself reading a pandemic-inspired poem by an unknown author.

Lit Hub found a YouTube reposting of the video and has shared it, in memory of Williams.
