One of last year’s it novels is being developed for the screen by one of Hollywood’s it actresses.

Deadline reports that Raven Leilani’s debut novel, Luster, which hit bestseller and award shortlists alike, is headed to HBO thanks to actress Tessa Thompson’s production company.

It isn’t clear whether Thompson will star, but the Luster series has a star-studded creative team — Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jackie Sibblies Drury and Lileana Blain-Cruz, recipient of the Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award are writing the script.

Thompson has previously shone in Westworld, Passing, and Thor: Love and Thunder; Leilani, meanwhile, won the Dylan Thomas Prize, the National Book Critics Circle’s John Leonard Prize, the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and the Kirkus Prize for fiction for Luster.
