Cozy mysteries never really left the literary landscape, but Alyse Burnside realized recently that they’re still making a comeback, of sorts.
While today’s cozies share a distance from the actual gore of murder with forebears like Miss Marple and Nancy Drew, she says, they aren’t all shying away from tougher (but less bloody) topics.
