Used books are a delight to most bookworms — and imagine owning one that came from an iconic figure.
Like, say, the second woman nominated to the US Supreme Court.
Those with deep pockets could make that a reality, as the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's thousand-plus-book collection goes up for auction.
The Guardian reports that titles range from legal textbooks to feminist works to books by her fellow justices.
Some (accessible to a broader audience) highlights: The Catcher in the Rye, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, and inscribed copies of Toni Morrison's Beloved and Gloria Steinem’s memoir My Life on the Road.
The sale runs through January 27 online.
