The late Anthony Veasna So's work is coming to television.
Deadline reports that Afterparties, the collection of short stories that became an instant bestseller, will become a half-hour TV series.
Afterparties mixed humor and heart in sharing the stories of Cambodian-Americans.
So died before the book's publication, but hopefully the executive producer's credentials would have met with his approval.
Lauren Yee is developing Celeste Ng's Everything I Never Told You as a limited series and also wrote for the TV adaptation of Min Jin Lee's Pachinko.
