Celebrity book clubs have released their picks for February 2022.

Reese Witherspoon selected The Christie Affair, by Nina de Gramont.

The novel follows Nan O’Dea, who works her way into the lives of Agatha Christie and her husband, Archie — whose mistress she becomes — but who has much bigger dreams, thanks to her tragic back story.

Jenna Bush Hager picked Black Cake, by Charmaine Wilkerson.

The novel describes the journey of Byron and Benny, whose mother leaves as an inheritance a traditional Caribbean black cake and a voice recording telling the story of a young woman who escapes her island home under suspicion of murder.

Good Morning America chose The Violin Conspiracy, by Brendan Slocumb.

The thriller novel follows Ray, a poor Black boy whose dreams of becoming a professional violinist go from improbable to reality when he discovers that he's inherited a Stradivarius violin — only to have, at a critical point in his career, the Stradivarius stolen and held for ransom.

You can read an excerpt of The Violin Conspiracy in GMA's announcement of its choice.
