Dr. Deborah Birx, who served as White House coronavirus task force coordinator during the Trump administration, is writing a memoir.

That's probably no surprise, given that Birx found herself under intense criticism throughout her nearly year-long tenure.

Silent Invasion: The Untold Story of The Trump Administration, COVID-19, and Preventing the Next Pandemic Before It’s Too Late comes out April 26.

The Associated Press reports that Birx wrote the book to "expose the true cost of mistakes that were made at all levels of the federal government" but to "also clarify the things that went right yet remained largely unseen."
