We have an addition to the October book-release lineup: Leonard Cohen.

The Guardian reports that Cohen's previously unpublished 1956 novel, A Ballet of Lepers, will come out this fall.

In the same volume will be fifteen short stories and a script for a radio play, so the entire work is called A Ballet of Lepers: A Novel and Stories.

Two publishers rejected the novel, the story of a man who takes in his elderly grandfather who has fits of violence.

But Cohen said, before his 2016 death, that A Ballet of Lepers was "probably" better than his first published novel, The Favourite Game.

The new posthumous collection will be released October 11 in the US and the UK.
