A new proposed library won't be the kind that lends books.

Instead, it'll offer all sorts of audio.

Specifically, recordings of sea animals from around the world.

Hence the nickname GLUBS, short for Global Library of Underwater Biological Sounds.

It isn't the first animal-sound collection, but it's notable for the wide net (sorry) that it casts.

Lit Hub has more on GLUBS and other animal sound libraries.
