A suburban St. Louis school district has reversed its decision to ban Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye.

But the ACLU, which filed a lawsuit on behalf of two students in the district, noted that six other titles remain banned.

The Associated Press reports that the Wentzville School Board accepted a review committee's recommendation to keep The Bluest Eye.

That decision, made Friday, followed the ACLU lawsuit and national news coverage of the district's ban.
